Haiti Flooding

As many have seen on the news lately, tropical storm Isaac has come down hard on Haiti, devastating the people of Port-Au-Prince. After the 2010 earthquake that killed 250,000 people, over a million were displaced from their homes. In turn, tent cities were erected to house many of these people. Extensive rain from Isaac has caused massive flooding, destroying the tent cities that these people have called “home”. As a result, there have been 24 deaths recorded so far, with 3 missing persons. Countless Haitians have suffered injuries and lost their homes. In addition to the fatalities and injuries, these people are going to have to pick up the pieces again.

HEH is doing something about it, and needs your help! We are looking to immediately begin sending humanitarian aid to help the Haitian people. We are looking to send 4 containers of food to Haiti. Each container costs $8,000 to ship. However, it requires funding to ship this food. We ask that you would consider partnering with us to help us ship much needed food to the people who have been devastated in Haiti. By doing so, we are affecting the lives of these people and being the hands of Jesus extended!
